Gluten or No Gluten? That is the question!
EAT gluten; unless you have been diagnosed with wheat allergies, celiac disease, or a gluten intolerance.
Studies from Harvard University recently suggested that avoiding gluten foods may actually increase one’s chance of heart disease, diabetes, and even possible stroke.|
Many think that avoiding gluten will help them lose weight but what people forget is that they are missing out on all the healthy nutrients and fiber found in whole-grain breads and pastas.
For the record: there is no proof that avoiding foods with gluten will help you drop your unwanted pounds, however when you eat whole grains verses refined ones, you can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
So, DO keep Gluten in your diet to maintain good heart health!
